Our Team

Sylvain Racine is a third-generation member of the Racine family. He finished his insurance training in 1996, then joined Racine & Chamberland as a personal and commercial property and casualty insurance broker.

In 2001, he became vice president of computer systems, human resources, and new acquisitions. Then in 2008 he took over from his father Daniel as president. Racine & Chamberland was founded in 1898 and continues to grow organically and through acquisitions in commercial insurance.

Sylvain graduated from Marie Victorin College in 1993 and earned a degree in business administration in 1996 from UQAM.

Alexandre is part of the 4th generation of the Racine family to join the company. He has been working as a personal insurance broker since 2024.

Academically, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, specializing in management, from HEC, graduating in 2023.

Bernard Bousseau is a property and casualty insurance broker and Racine & Chamberland’s general manager. He joined the firm in 2008.

He has over 35 years experience in the public and private business sector, where he has held senior positions.

He manages the insurance portfolios for a broad range of clients in the industrial, professional services, and condominium association sectors.

Bernard has a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from Université de Montréal, as well as a master’s in management consulting and a master’s in business administration from UQAM.

Line Therrien held numerous administrative positions before joining Racine & Chamberland in 2005 as the human resources manager. She leads a team of over 70 employees.

Johanne Fasulo is a personal-lines damage insurance broker and is the firm’s personal-lines manager. She began her career in 1980 and joined Racine & Chamberland in 1989.

Céline joined the firm in 2023.

Jacques Amzallag has been a commercial property and casualty insurance broker since 2009. He joined Racine & Chamberland in 2013.

Jacques holds a certificate in insurance and one in law from Vanier College and a certificate in risk management from McGill University.

Kevin André is a property and casualty insurance broker at Racine & Chamberland and has been working in the insurance industry since 2018. He assists clients with both personal and commercial insurance, with experience in residential, rental, and condominium risks, as well as condominium associations, restaurants, and commercial businesses and properties.

Denny Angurias is a commercial-lines damage insurance broker. He joined Racine & Chamberland in 2018.

Mr. Angurias holds a DEP in Commerce from Vanier College (2013) and a BA in International Political Science and Economics (2017) from Concordia University in Montreal.

Lise Assaf joined Racine & Chamberland in 2000. She has over 35 years experience in insurance and suretyship.
